Terms of Purchase

Welcome to Velouroy. This Purchasing Agreement explains the terms that apply to orders placed through our online store and forms part of the contractual relationship between you and LUMINEX GLOBAL TRADING LIMITED.

These purchasing conditions should be read together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and any other policies made available on the Velouroy website.

By submitting an order or completing payment through our Site, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the provisions below.

1. Eligibility to Make a Purchase

By placing an order with Velouroy, you confirm that:

3. Order Review, Acceptance and Cancellation

Placing an order through Velouroy does not automatically guarantee acceptance or fulfillment.

We reserve the right to review, delay, reject, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including circumstances involving:

  • Unexpected inventory shortages

  • Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions

  • Payment verification concerns

Before dispatch, we may request additional verification of identity, payment information, or other order details where reasonably necessary.

If Velouroy cancels an order after payment has already been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

We may also revise prices, product specifications, availability, or promotional offers at any time before an order is accepted.

4. Product Images, Descriptions and Specifications

Velouroy makes reasonable efforts to present products accurately through photographs, descriptions, measurements, specifications, and other information displayed on our Site.

However, minor differences may occur because of:

  • Lighting used in photography

  • Manufacturing tolerances

  • Production-batch variations

  • Measurement methods

  • Material or finish differences

For these reasons, we cannot guarantee that every color, measurement, finish, or visual detail shown online will appear completely identical in person.

If the product received is materially different from the description provided at the time of purchase, please follow our applicable Return Policy or contact our support team.

Even when accelerated or express checkout features are available, customers are encouraged to review the full product information before completing payment.

5. Incorrect Pricing or Display Errors

Although we take reasonable steps to maintain accurate pricing, technical, typographical, or display errors may occasionally occur.

Where an obvious pricing error has resulted in a transaction being submitted at an incorrect price, Velouroy is not required to fulfill the order at that price where applicable law permits.

In such circumstances, we may:

  • Stop fulfillment before shipment

  • Notify you of the error

  • Cancel the affected order or item

  • Return any applicable payment already collected

We reserve the right to correct inaccurate prices, descriptions, or other catalog information whenever an error is identified.

6. Inventory Availability and Fulfillment Estimates

Inventory information displayed on Velouroy reflects our current expected availability and should not be treated as an absolute guarantee that a product will remain available until fulfillment is completed.

Although we aim to process orders efficiently, standard international delivery may require up to 30 days after successful payment clearance.

Actual delivery may be affected by circumstances such as:

  • Carrier delays

  • Severe weather

  • Customs processing

  • Peak-season demand

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Supply-chain interruptions

  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

An item displayed as available or “in stock” may occasionally become unavailable before dispatch.

If this occurs, we will notify you and may cancel the unavailable product and refund or adjust the corresponding amount paid.

7. International Orders and Local Compliance

Customers purchasing products for international delivery acknowledge that product standards, documentation, and support arrangements may differ between countries.

Depending on your destination:

  • Certain warranties may not apply locally

  • Region-specific support services may be unavailable

  • Instructions, care information, packaging, or safety notices may primarily be provided in English

  • Product labeling may differ from the requirements applied to locally manufactured products

It is the customer's responsibility to determine whether products ordered through Velouroy may be legally imported, possessed, and used in the destination country or territory.

8. Customs Duties, VAT and Import Charges

International orders may be subject to taxes or charges imposed by customs authorities or other government agencies in the destination country.

Even if certain taxes are collected at checkout, additional amounts may still be assessed when the package enters your country.

Unless otherwise clearly stated during checkout, the customer is responsible for any applicable:

  • Import duties

  • Customs charges

  • Value-Added Tax (VAT)

  • Brokerage fees

  • Clearance charges

  • Local taxes

  • Other government assessments

These charges are determined by local authorities and are outside Velouroy's control.

9. Governing Law and Company Information

This Purchasing Agreement and commercial transactions completed through Velouroy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
